Mercedes Benz ISM DSM 7G-Tronic Renew Cable for VVDI MB BGA Tool

The Mercedes-Benz ISM / DSM renewal cables are designed to reset and renew Mercedes ISM 722.9 and 7G-Tronic DSM modules on the workbench, without the need to connect them to a vehicle. This solution works with Mercedes key programming tools and has been successfully tested using the Xhorse VVDI MB key programmer.

Steps to Renew Mercedes Gearbox Using VVDI MB:

1. Install the VVDI MB software on your computer.
2. Launch the Xhorse VVDI Mercedes software.
3. Connect the Mercedes 7G-Tronic DSM renewal cable to the VVDI OBD interface and supply it with 12V power.
4. Select the Renew ECU / Gearbox option.
5. Choose the DSM module.
6. Click Read.
7. Select Get Erase Password.
8. Wait a few seconds while the system calculates the erase password online.
9. Press the Renew button. Once completed, the Mercedes DSM 7G module will be reset and ready to be programmed to another vehicle.
