The Xhorse VVDI2 VAG 48 Transponder Copy Adapter works exclusively with VVDI2 and allows copying ID48 transponders used in 4th Generation Immobilizer systems.

Requirements to Copy ID48 Chip

To perform ID48 chip copy, you need:

1. VVDI2 with 4th Immobilizer system function
2. VVDI2 48 Chip Copy function
3. VVDI2 48 Chip Data Collector
4. New ID48 chip
5. 1000 points or 1 token

How to Activate ID48 Copy Function :

1. Open VVDI2 Key Programmer Software
2. Go to Menu → Member Points System
3. Obtain the 48 Chip Copy Authorization

Copy Methods :

During the ID48 chip copy process, PIN code and Component Security (CS) bytes are required. You can obtain them using one of the following methods:

1. VVDI2 reads PIN code and CS directly from the ECU via OBDII
2. Manually input the PIN code and CS bytes if already available

Special Notes

For VW Magotan / CC:

Only ID48 chip copy with original key is supported

Does not support:

• ID46 chip
• Smart key
• All keys lost
