The Xhorse Smart Key Box is an adapter that enables vehicle access through a mobile phone app via Bluetooth connection. With this adapter, Bluetooth connectivity can be integrated into the vehicle’s central locking or keyless entry system when configured with an Xhorse Universal Remote. It allows wireless locking, unlocking, and remote start functions. Please note that this adapter does not create these features; the vehicle must already support locking, unlocking, or remote start before installing the Xhorse Smart Key Box.

It adopts advanced RF technology and is designed for vehicles equipped with a push-start system.
Supports adding smart keys for vehicles.
Supports adding or modifying the keyless entry function.

Use a VVDI device to generate the remote control. Supported devices: MINI Key Tool, Key Tool Max, Key Tool Plus, VVDI2.

How to Install Xhorse Smart Box XDSKE0EN – Step by Step

1. Remove the original remote control and solder the cable according to the original remote’s soldering diagram, ensuring the correct direction.

2. Connect the RF antenna, LF antenna (use any two LF antenna interfaces), and the original remote control that will be transferred.

3. Locate the Vbat wire and ground wire from the fuse box, OBD port, or other suitable locations.

4. Identify the ACC signal wire (such as from the original car radio, the wire powered after navigation is turned on, or when the instrument light is on).

5. Connect the Vbat wire, ground wire, and ACC wire from the power cable to the vehicle.

6. Configure the DIP switch settings.

7. Bind the remote control with the mobile phone (refer to the binding instructions).

8. Complete the installation.

9. After installation, bring a key close to the vehicle and test the automatic unlock and lock function when moving away (repeat the test with other keys).

10. After connecting to the app, test the unlock, lock, trunk, and panic functions.

Installation Process at a Glance

• Solder the supplied wires to the PCB of an Xhorse Universal Remote.
• Program the remote to the vehicle.
• Connect the Smart Key Box to the vehicle via the OBD2 port.
