GL Version Global Version Explanation

Based on feedback from customers across different regions — particularly Middle East customers requiring access to Southeast Asian and European database options — a Global (GL) version was introduced from firmware V2.3.5 onward.

• The GL version merges the three previous regional versions (EU, ME, and SE) into a single unified database — all three regional versions will automatically upgrade to the GL version from firmware V2.3.5
• The GL version provides broader remote coverage with ongoing additions and updates — if any options appear to be missing compared to the previous regional version, contact support for assistance
• Additional universal smart key generation options have already been released in the GL version
• Customers who prefer to retain their original regional version can request a rollback by submitting their device serial number to Xhorse support via the Xhorse App online service or direct message

How to Update Xhorse VVDI Mini Key Tool Firmware

1. Connect the Xhorse Mini Key Tool to a computer using the USB cable
2. Launch the Xhorse Update Kit software, select VVDI Lark, and click Find Device
3. Once the device is detected, click Upgrade to begin the firmware update
4. Wait for the process to complete
5. Update the VVDI Mini Key Tool database by launching the device and connecting to the Xhorse app via Bluetooth
