Note: M822 Adapter needs to be used with advanced XTOOL Key Programming Devices eg: X100 Pad3/X100 Max and KC501 or KC100 Key Programmer.

Connection Method

Connection Steps for XTOOL M822 Adapter : Connect via OBD:

1. Connect the KC100 or KC501 to the device using a USB cable and prepare the KS-1 key emulator.
2. Connect the device (or VCI box) to the M822 adapter using the main cable.
3. Connect the Toyota cable to the vehicle through the OBD port.
4. Remove the battery clip from the vehicle and use it to connect the cable directly to the battery.
5. Remove the fuse from the fuse box and insert the cable into the fuse slot.
6. Locate the 12V DC male connector on the Toyota cable and connect it to the 12V DC female connector on the main cable.

Note:
Connection procedures may vary depending on the vehicle model. In some cases, an extension cable may be required, and fuse positions may differ. Always check the wiring diagram on the XTOOL tablet before connecting to the vehicle and fuse box.
