The GODIAG GT108 Super OBDI-OBDII Adapter allows technicians to convert OBDI diagnostic ports into standard OBDII connections. Follow these simple steps to connect and start diagnosing vehicles efficiently:
Identify the Diagnostic Interface
Check your vehicle’s maintenance manual or search online.
You can also use the GT108 manual to locate the definition diagram of the diagnostic interface.
Prepare the Connection Cable
Based on the interface definition, select the required cable.
Attach it securely to the GT108 adapter using a screwdriver to lock the terminal.
Connect to Vehicle OBD1 Port
Plug the diagnostic cable into the OBD1 interface.
Always connect GND4 or GND5 first, then connect BAT+.
Once powered, the POW light on the GT108 will turn on.
If no power is available, connect the car battery to the GT108’s DC power input using the battery cable.
For vehicles requiring ignition, connect the O-IGN line and press the IGN switch. The IGN indicator will light up, and ignition power will be output.
Connect the Communication Line
Link the CAN or K-line to the diagnostic interface.
For trucks using 24V diagnostic systems, use the GODIAG GT106 24V to 12V adapter.
Start Vehicle Diagnostics
Connect your diagnostic device to the GT108 adapter.
Begin reading data streams, fault codes, and performing ECU programming.
If unsure about your vehicle’s interface definition, locate the power supply first.
Use a multimeter or the GODIAG GT101 Circuit Tester to identify the diagnostic interface correctly.
Always ensure correct polarity when connecting to avoid damage.
