The Autel MaxiBAS BT506 is a professional battery and electrical system analysis tool designed to give technicians a comprehensive view of vehicle battery and electrical system health. Going beyond standard battery testing, it measures not only the state of charge but also the state of health — including battery capacity and its ability to store and maintain energy.
Using advanced adaptive conductance technology, the BT506 delivers a more precise assessment of the battery's cold-cranking ability and reserve capacity, providing the critical data needed to accurately determine a battery's true condition.

Compatible Autel Scanner Series
The BT506 is an app-based battery analysis tool developed by Autel. Download the free mobile app — available for both iOS and Android — and pair it with the BT506 to perform battery testing and view detailed test results directly on your smartphone.

1. Generator Test
Generator test refers to test different parts of the charging system, including generators, rectifiers, rectifier diodes, etc., to obtain the real charging voltage value.
All battery data about ripple, no-load voltage, load voltage are displayed to customers.
2. Starter Test
Starter test help you analyze the starter motor, including start voltage and start time, to check if the starter motor is working properly.
3. Battery Test
After battery test is completed, SOH (state of health), SOC (state of charge), voltage, current, rating, and specific guidance and suggestions can be visually displayed, and the batteries can be clearly divided into: Good Battery; Good & Recharge; Charge & Retest; Bad Cell; Replace Battery.
Color-coded results summary, a list of test data, and repair tips helps you perform battery test in easy way.

The BT506 features polarity-protected positive and negative alligator clamps — if the clamps are accidentally reversed, no damage will occur. The built-in color-coded LED indicator keeps users informed of connection and testing status at all times, flashing red to alert the technician when an incorrect connection has been detected.

The BT506 uses Bluetooth to wirelessly share test data with the mobile app, enabling fast and seamless result transmission to your smartphone or Autel diagnostic tablet.
Unlike traditional battery testers, the BT506 can connect to both Autel diagnostic scanners and PCs for comprehensive battery testing functionality.
