KEYDIY KD-X4 Overview
The KD-X4 is a comprehensive professional key programming device that integrates recognition, generation, copying, programming, and matching functions in a single unit. It can be operated as a standalone device or connected to tablets, smartphones, and PC software — giving locksmiths the flexibility to choose the workflow that best suits their needs.
The device supports an extensive range of functions, including frequency detection (including 2.4GHz), remote control generation and simulation, keyless remote simulation, remote copying, chip recognition and copying, chip generation, chip acquisition, key unlocking, IMMO programming, programmer read/write operations, and online updates. With straightforward operation, stable performance, and broad vehicle coverage, the KD-X4 has become a go-to professional tool for locksmiths worldwide.

KEYDIY KD-X4 Professional Key Programmer
The KEYDIY KD-X4 is an all-in-one key programming solution that consolidates the functions of four separate KEYDIY devices: KD Master, KD MAX, KD MATE, and KD Mini Prog. It also supports BMW BDC2, BDC3, BCP, and MQB49 5C/5D add key functions.
Supported Languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, Thai, Japanese, and Korean. Android support is available now; iOS support will be updated shortly. For additional language requirements, please contact your local distributor.
Please Note: The KD-X4 does not include the KD-MP MQB48 / MLB key reading function.

KEYDIY KD-X4 Button & Interface Guide
- Power On/Off Button – Press and hold for 2 seconds to power on or off.
- Chip Recognition Button – Press to enter chip detection. Long press to access the function menu: Chip Recognition, Ignition Coil Detection, or System Settings.
- Remote Copy Button – Press for normal remote copy. Long press for the function menu: Normal Copy, Special Copy, or Remote Data Comparison.
- Frequency Detection Button – Press for 315MHz frequency detection. Long press for the function menu: 315MHz Detection, 433.92MHz Detection, or Battery Voltage / Leakage Detection.
- Key Induction Coil & IMMO Chip Slot – Identifies and copies vehicle IMMO chips. Also used for wireless KD remote generation.
- Frequency Detection Area – Place the remote key in this area and press any button to detect its frequency.
- Power Indicator Light – Flashing: device is on / Solid yellow: charging / Solid green: fully charged.
- Display Screen – Shows device and key information.
- USB Interface – Used for charging or wired connection to a smartphone or PC.
- Programmer Interface – Reads data from VW MQB dashboards, Audi dashboards, BCM modules, and octagonal chip EEPROMs.
- Wired Programming Interface – Used for KD wired remote generation, original key unlocking, remote battery voltage detection, and leakage detection.
- Collecting Antenna – Collects vehicle ignition data, tests ignition coils, and performs chip simulation.
- External Acquisition Antenna Port – External connection for ignition data collection, coil detection, and chip simulation functions.
- Toyota Adapter Cable Interface – Used for Toyota / Lexus smart key all-keys-lost procedures.
- OBD Main Cable Interface – Connects to the vehicle's OBD II port. Works with the Mobile KD App to enable key programming functions.
