The VNCI PT3G / PT4G is a professional diagnostic interface purpose-built for Porsche diagnostics, programming, and immobilizer operations across both older and current models. Fully compatible with the original PT3G / PT4G diagnostic system software drivers and supporting the latest PIWIS software and all OEM PIWIS 3 versions, it serves as a complete replacement for the original PT3G / PT4G diagnostic scanner — at a fraction of the original cost.
Operating on a true plug-and-play basis with no third-party software required, the VNCI PT3G connects via USB, Wi-Fi, or LAN and is compatible with both Porsche diagnostic software and engineering software.
Supported models include 9PA, 9YA, 9YB, 92A, 95B, 918, 970, 971, 981, 982, 986, 987, 991, 992, 996, 997, Y1A, and all Porsche models from 1996 to the present.

The OEMPIWIS3 system is designed for fault diagnosis and control unit programming on Porsche vehicles, integrating a complete suite of diagnostic functions for the full Porsche model range. It supports simultaneous reading of multiple control units, significantly simplifying the diagnostic process. ECUs can be coded automatically, individually, or via a control table.
The PI3 Vehicle Analysis Log (VAL Protocol) is automatically recorded during vehicle use, throughout maintenance, and upon completion of service — providing a comprehensive vehicle status history.
The VNCI also supports DC and AC voltage measurement, DC and AC current measurement, diode testing, resistance measurement, open and closed circuit testing, and oscilloscope functionality for monitoring voltage, current, and resistance changes over time.
The software's Troubleshooting Guide delivers faster and more intuitive fault finding, displaying all diagnostic information, initiation procedures, and potential fault sources in a clear and accessible format. The significantly improved Guided Fault Finding (GFF) function further reduces repeated repairs. An integrated online learning function, updated database, and direct access to the workshop technical information system are also included for streamlined everyday use.

The system supports fault code reading and clearing, live data stream capture, computer programming and matching, component testing, service information consultation, component field drawings, and wiring diagram access.
Compatible with both older and the latest Porsche models, the Tester IV enables diagnosis and programming across a broad range of vehicles including the 911 (997 / 991), Cayman (987), Cayenne (2010–2011), and Panamera. The new Panamera can only be diagnosed using the Tester IV, and all early models are progressively transitioning to the Tester IV platform.
The Tester IV covers all latest Porsche models including the Panamera 971, Cayenne 9YO E3, Panamera 992, and Cayman 982 GT4 Clubsport — models that are not supported by the Tester II and will not be supported in the future. Once early diagnostic procedures are fully migrated to Tester IV, the Tester I will be discontinued.
Upon distribution, Tester IV includes base software required for initial startup and configuration. The system also supports CarPlay activation for Porsche Macan and PPN online remote support.

Step 1 — Firmware Update
Install the latest VNCI PT3G Device Manager and upgrade the firmware to the most recent version.

Step2: Connect VNCI PT3G to the piwis software and switch to the USB cable wireless configuration state.

Step 4 — Pairing PIWIS3 with VNCI PT3G Wireless Configuration
⚠ This step is critical and must not be skipped.
After completing the WLAN and AP connection configuration, the VNCI PT3G must be paired with the PIWIS3 software on the current computer before wireless connection can be used. Every time you switch to a different PIWIS computer, the pairing process must be completed again.
Pairing Steps:

Step5: Disconnect usb port, Restart PIWIS3 software
1. Wirless connection by WLAN infrastructure
Ensure that the current computer is connected to the network as same as the VNCI PT3G WLAN configuration network
connect VNCI PT3G to your car or OBD16 power supply, Press and hold the VNCI PT3G button until the led light status changes, as shown bellow picture
WLAN Infrastructure connects two states of LED lights

When VNCI PT3G connect to PIWIS3 software by WLAN Infrastructure. The VNCI PT3G make a deep sounds, and piwis3 software will show wireless connection icon, as shown bellow picture

AP (Access Point) Connection — LED Status Guide
To connect via AP mode, enter the custom AP connection password. Once the device emits a long beep, the PIWIS3 system will display the wireless connection icon confirming a successful connection

Note
AP connection uses a wireless adapter — if your computer has only one wireless adapter, internet access will not be available while connected in AP mode. A secondary external wireless adapter is required if simultaneous internet access is needed.
