Precautions Before Use

• Verify that the vehicle's power supply voltage is within the normal operating range of DC 9V to 15V before use.
• Before initiating vehicle communication, locate the DLC port and confirm that the OBD II 16-pin connector is firmly and correctly seated.
• When performing special function tests, follow all on-screen operating instructions carefully. Each vehicle model may have specific conditions that must be met — for example, some vehicles require the engine temperature to be between 80°C and 105°C, all electrical loads (such as headlights and air conditioning) to be switched off, and the accelerator pedal to be fully released.
• If the target vehicle model or electronic control system is not listed in the AutoProPAD test menu, update the software or contact XTOOL Technical Support for assistance.
• Use only approved XTOOL cables and connectors to avoid potential damage to the device.
• Before shutting down the unit, ensure all current tasks are completed or cancelled and the device has returned to the main interface before powering off.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure when operating the touchscreen.
• If the device will not be in use for an extended period, disconnect it from the power source and turn it off to preserve battery life.
