Orange-5 Installation Guide
Base Software Download: Download the base software package: Click here
Installation Steps:
- Extract the contents of orange5.rar to any location on your PC.
- Open Windows Device Manager.
- Connect the Orange-5 programmer to your PC via USB.
- Locate the Orange-5 device in Device Manager, right-click it, and select Properties → Driver → Update Driver.
- Navigate to the folder where you extracted orange5.rar and locate the Driver folder. Select the X64 subfolder if your operating system is 64-bit.
- Install the driver.
- Disconnect and reconnect the programmer to allow it to reinitialize.
- Run the program (orange.exe). Depending on your Windows User Account Control settings, you may need to run the software as Administrator. The programmer should initialize and launch correctly.
Troubleshooting
- "Hardware Not Detected" message, but Mode LED is solid blue, and Orange-5 appears normally in Device Manager: Check your USB ports and cable for poor contact, overload, or connection issues — the programmer will not run if the USB connection is unstable.
- Mode LED is blinking: The driver has not been installed correctly. Disconnect and reconnect the programmer, then return to Step 2 and repeat the installation process.
