XTool AutoProPAD BASIC Activation Steps

1. Connect to Wi-Fi before activating the device
2. Enter the following details to complete activation:
   • Activation Code — found on the Quality Certificate cover
   • Product Serial Number — unique to each device
   • Nickname — workshop name or user nickname
   • Login Account — email address or phone number
   • Password

The system saves the information automatically. Activation is a one-time process. The diagnostic application will launch immediately after activation is complete.

How do I get updates?

There are two methods for updating the device:

Method 1 — Via the Menu Connect the device to a Wi-Fi network, tap the menu button in the top-left corner, and select Updates. All available updates will be listed — tap each one to install.

Method 2 — Via the Manufacturer Screen Connect to Wi-Fi. From any screen showing vehicle manufacturers, a small white Update icon will appear next to any manufacturer with an available update. Tap each icon to install updates one at a time.

Updates are added frequently — checking weekly is recommended.

Updates & Support Subscription

The AutoProPAD BASIC includes one year of free unlimited updates. After the subscription ends, the device continues to work normally but new updates will not be available. On-vehicle technical support is only available to users with an active subscription.

Renewal within 30 days of expiration:

• No additional reactivation fee
• Subscription is treated as a continuation — start date rolls back to the day after the previous subscription expired

Renewal more than 30 days after expiration:

• A subscription reactivation fee applies
• Subscription is treated as new — start date is the day the new subscription is activated

Warranty

The AutoProPAD BASIC includes a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty covering defects in parts and labor. Physical damage is not covered. Shipping costs are typically not included.
