Autel XP200 Key Programmer

The XP200 is a dedicated programmer designed for reading Volkswagen vehicle key chip data, cloning and generating replacement keys, reading and writing onboard EEPROM data, and reading and writing Freescale 9S12 MCUs. When used alongside a compatible diagnostic tool or PC loaded with the programmer software, the XP200 delivers fast and accurate key chip read/write performance.

Autel MaxiIM IM508 Software Update Guide

The Update application allows users to download and install the latest software releases, including new vehicle models, enhanced diagnostics, and expanded IMMO capabilities. When connected to the internet, the tablet automatically checks for available updates across all MaxiIM software. A notification message will appear when new updates are ready if the Notifications Center is enabled in Settings.

Update Screen – Navigation & Controls

• Home Button – Returns to the MaxiIM Job Menu.
• Refresh – Reloads the available update list.
• IMMO Tab – Displays all available IMMO software updates by vehicle.
• Diagnostics Tab – Displays all available vehicle diagnostics software updates.
• Renew – Opens the subscription renewal page.
• Search Bar – Search for a specific update item.

Status Bar

• Left Side – Displays the account email address and subscription expiration date.
• Right Side – Shows remaining subscription days and real-time download speed.

Main Section

• Left Column – Displays vehicle brand logos.
• Middle Column – Describes new changes or improvements to each software item.
• Right Column – Shows action buttons based on each item's current status:
  • Sort – Sorts available items by selected type.
  • Bulk Update – Selects and updates multiple items simultaneously.
  • Get – Downloads and installs a specific update.
  • Pause – Suspends the current download.
  • Continue – Resumes a paused download.

How to Update IMMO & Diagnostic Software

1. Ensure the tablet is connected to a stable power source and active internet connection.
2. Open the Update application from the MaxiIM Job Menu, or tap the update notification when it appears, or tap the Update icon within the IMMO / Diagnostics application.
3. Select the desired items to update:
   • To update all items: tap Bulk Update → Select All
   • To update multiple selected items: tap Bulk Update and choose the desired items
   • To update a single item: tap the Get button next to that item
4. Tap Pause at any time to suspend the update. Tap Continue to resume from the same point.
5. Once the update is complete, the new firmware installs automatically, replacing the previous version.
